Pelham sits on the Massachusetts line between Hudson, Windham, and Salem, with Dracut, Methuen, and Tyngsborough just south. Route 38 is the commercial spine, Route 111A runs north toward Windham, and Route 128 follows the western edge as Mammoth Road.

The town reads rural, with larger lots, stone walls, horse properties, and small farms, and North Pelham feels even more tucked away. Beaver Brook runs through town on its way to the Merrimack River.

Muldoon Park is the main recreation spot, with walking trails, ball fields, a play area, and an 18-hole disc golf course around two ponds. The Pelham School District serves the town through Pelham High School.

Commuters head to I-93 in Salem, to Route 3 in Nashua, or south on Route 38 toward I-495 and the Lowell Line commuter rail. Many lots here are big enough for a barn, a riding ring, or a serious garden.
