Woodmont Commons is Londonderry's planned mixed-use neighborhood, built on what was Woodmont Orchards, just off Route 102 near I-93 Exit 4. The town approved it as a planned unit development, and it has been building out in phases around its own Main Street.
The town center opened with its streets, landscaping, and lighting first, then shops, restaurants, and a brewery followed, with a Market Basket-anchored plaza next door. Housing so far includes apartments from studios to three bedrooms, single-family homes on Gilcreast Road, and townhouses near the north end of the town center, plus an extended care facility.
The project is still phasing in, so the neighborhood is genuinely new, and the master plan on file shows more to come. That makes it a strong fit for buyers who want new construction and walkability at the same address.
Woodmont Commons is part of the Londonderry School District and pays Londonderry's tax rate. Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is about 20 minutes away without traffic.
